It's February already?

So, each week I mean to give you an update, but somehow, it doesn't get done...anyway, sorry for the delay!
Daniel is on the move. He crawls anywhere & everywhere he can. As you can probably guess, our job, when he is awake, is to "chase" him. He is no longer confined to the blanket we have spread on the floor, he is mobile, & he loves it! He also finds it fun to pull himself up on practically every table, shelf, & chair he can reach. Let's just say this makes his mom & dad nervous! He is becoming more & more steady on his feet when he pulls up. Walking here we come....wait up!
Daniel is also eating solid foods & loving them, for the most part. As expected, there are some foods he prefers over others - like turkey & veggies or oatmeal & bananas. He will typically eat a whole jar's worth of food for breakfast & dinner. At lunchtime, he's not that big of an eater. He is also getting the hang of picking up Cheerios with his little fingers & putting them in his mouth. He enjoys it, too!
A couple weeks ago, we went on a trip to Target & Daniel rode in his stroller while there. At one point, Eddie looked over to check on him & discovered Daniel had fallen asleep while in his stroller. This was a first. Usually he just fusses the whole time & then falls asleep on the drive home. It was very cute & it made shopping go a lot smoother.
Speaking of car rides, Daniel is beginning to be okay with them. Yay!!!!! We have moved him from his infant car seat to a regular car seat (still rear-facing, of course). It has given him more space & he is higher up, so he can see out the side windows a lot more.
We have been using some basic sign language with him to help with his understanding & eventually we hope to see him use it to communicate with us too. So far, we know he understands 'milk' & 'all done'. How do we know? Because he gets very excited when we use those particular signs. We are also working on 'eat' & 'more'. He is also playing peek-a-boo with us now anytime there is a blanket or towel around. It's so cute!
In other news...
Eddie is still getting work from time to time, which is always a great blessing! My job is going well. I now have about 28 students that I am working with.
The weather has been chilly the past month or so (around mid 50's during the day & 30's at night). We're definitely ready for spring!
Hope you are doing well. Here are some recent photos of our little sweetie.
