2 weeks!

Wow! Time flies when you have a new baby! Sorry for the delay in updating our blog.
Our sweet Daniel is growing quickly. At his 2 week check-up he weighed 6 lbs, 13 oz! He did have to have some bloodwork done because there was a slight abnormality for one of the newborn thyroid screens. However, the pediatrician said she wasn't really concerned about it since he is eating well, gaining weight, & is healthy. We'll keep you posted though.
We are starting to see a schedule take shape with our little guy. He has some times when he is wide awake during the day & pretty happy. He like to stay up late (around midnight) before going to sleep, but he sleeps well once he does.
As for Eddie & I, we are adjusting to the changes that have come our way. We absolutely love the precious little angel! For now, the main thing we are missing is the freedom to just go out to Target or the grocery store to walk around, run quick errands, or visiting with friends on a whim. While it's true that one of us can go, we miss being able to go together. I guess that will come in time.
Overall, we are enjoying are new little one & are excited to have him in our life.

Everything continues to go just fine. The baby dropped down on Sunday evening. :) So we're moving along & little Daniel is cooperating so far. We are putting the final touches on his room today, so pictures will follow just as soon as possible. My bags are packed, so we're ready when the baby is. We'll keep you posted :)
