We're almost crawling??!!!!!!

Daniel just continues to amaze us everyday. He seems to be growing faster the past couple of weeks. His latest form of communication is "pfffft" (aka 'raspberries') & he is imitating "hi" at least once each day. Last Wednesday he got his first taste of solid foods: rice cereal. He took a few bites & then was done. On Thanksgiving, he tasted sweet potatoes. He seemed to like those better. He has tasted bananas too, which he also seemed to enjoy. He is only taking about 4-5 bites each time before he starts to push the spoon away or turn his head, but he's keeping it down, so we're off to a great start! And then...
In the past 72 hours (seriously) he has gone from having no idea how to scoot around to scooting all over the place AND even beginning to get his little knees & legs into the crawling position!!! I guess we now officially have to "baby proof" EVERYTHING. Nothing is safe from little hands now!
Given the above, it explains why he hasn't been sleeping very well at night. Can you say major growth spurt?!
Yes, we are very proud of our little one & so very thankful that God has placed him in our lives.
As for the rest of our lives...
Thanksgiving was fun. We headed to my parents' house for the day. I hardly had to hold our little one since Daniel's grandma, grandpa, aunts, & uncle were all wanting to spend time with him. Needless to say, he is a VERY loved grandson & nephew! We started to put up Christmas decorations the day after Thanksgiving. What usually takes us maybe a day & a half has now extended into what will be 4 days! Between Daniel's naps & everything else, one can only accomplish so much at a time.
Eddie continues to get contract type work! Yeah! We are so thankful to God for supplying the extra income. It truly is a wonderful answer to prayer.
