Daniel is rolling over (just one side so far), he is able to hold his chest/tummy up with his hands, and he is grabbing EVERYTHING he can to put in his...you guessed it...his mouth! During his tummy time, he has managed to hike himself up on his legs a few time, but it only lasts a few seconds.
The other milestone we have hit (not too happily) is his 4 month growth spurt. Our little boy who used to sleep through the night is now waking up every 2-3 hours to nurse (as of this past week). Thankfully he does go back to sleep afterwards. Needless to say I miss sleeping through the night. He is also VERY clingy to me, so I might as well kiss anything I need to do goodbye. Then add to that the catnaps (10-15 minutes on average) that he takes sporadically...it makes for one cranky little boy. We are just waiting it out (it's really the only choice, right?).
When he does feel rested he is a very cheery little guy. He is making all sorts of sounds & has recently begun shrieking out of sheer delight. Can you say ear piercing?!
The weather here is beginning to cool down (Yeah!). We have been getting some more rain on & off the past couple days, but overall it's been beautiful! A few of the trees are starting to change colors slowly, but surely.
