Snow :)

The past couple weeks have been pretty uneventful, but as always we manage to stay busy. Last week, I went for my 24 week check-up. The doctor had no concerns & said the baby's heart rate continues to be a healthy one. All of the measurements were right on target. Needless to say, we continue to be very thankful for a healthy baby & pregnancy.
Two Saturdays ago, Eddie took me out to celebrate my birthday. He took me to a nice lunch followed by some shopping. It was a lot of fun & very relaxing. :)
This past weekend, we received a lot of rain, which turned into snow on Sunday afternoon. I have posted a couple pictures & video below. We got about 3 inches. Sadly, most of it had melted by this morning. It was still very enjoyable to watch.
On Sunday, we went to visit my family. My sister, Laura made me a beautiful sunflower decorated birthday cake (chocolate cake with coffee flavored frosting - YUM!). We had a nice visit & even got to watch more snow fall while we were there.
Today didn't bring any snow, but it's still kind of chilly. Schools in our local district were closed today due to ice on the roads (it was in the 20's this morning), which meant a day off for me. I have definitely enjoyed it.
