Wow, it's been a while since I updated y'all (yes, the term is used quite frequently out here).
Let's see. The last weekend in September, we went miniature golfing with my sister, Laura. That was fun and definitely out of the ordinary.
Just prior to that, Hurricane Ike made getting gas here in Georgia quite a chore! We've never seen so many gas stations closed. It seemed like every day another station was out of gas. The situation has improved a lot since then. As of last Thursday, one can get gas without waiting in a horrendous line or paying over $4 per gallon! :)
This past weekend was a combination of fun and frustrating. First, our internet was down from Thursday until today (Thanks to Eddie's persistance!). The fun was having Sarah's family over for lunch on Sunday. It was nice to have company over:)
This coming weekend, we are headed to the Cumming Country Fair. We went last year & had a great time, so we're looking forward to it.
We're supposed to get some much needed rain starting tonight & hopefully through Thursday. The temperatures have been wonderful, so far. A few leaves have started to change, but that's about all.
We'll hopefully have some pictures to post from the fair next time we write!
